This is a spectacular sightseeing and bridge-playing holiday through the legendary countryside once known as Flanders (Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg). While exploring these tiny countries, we'll enjoy charming squares, quaint villages, fields of flowers and all the sites that the Benelux countries have to offer. And, of course, we'll be honored guests at bridge clubs throughout.

Day 1 U.S.A. / The Netherlands
  Fly from your gateway city, via Sabena Belgium World Airlines, to Europe.
Day 2 Amsterdam
  Upon arrival in Amsterdam, transfer to our hotel. Tonight we get acquainted at a Welcome Dinner.

Don't forget to try

This morning we venture to Aalsmeer to see the largest flower auction in the world, then return to the city to see Dam square, a diamond cutlery, and the Anne Frank House.

 Tonight, the players of Amsterdam have planned a typical Dutch dinner with social duplicate bridge.
Day 4 Amsterdam
  More of Amsterdam today on a private canal boat tour followed by a visit to the Rijksmuseum of Art.

Day 5 Amsterdam / The Hague
  We'll visit the lived-in museum city of Zaanse Schans, and the fishing port of Volendam. Tonight we reside in Holland's most beautiful and liveliest seaside resort.

Day 6 The Hague
  Today we'll visit The Hague seeing the Peace Palace, Parliament Buildings and Madurodam. After lunch, we'll drive to Delft to see the Old Church, the New Church, and the last remaining Delftware factory.

 Den Haag Bridge School has invited us to join them for dinner and bridge.
Day 7 The Hague / Maastricht
  "All aboard" our modern train for Maastricht where we'll tour the Stokstraat Quarter, Roman and Gothic churches, centuries-old fortifications and one of the oldest wineries in Holland.

Day 8 Maastricht

Today is at leisure to relax and enjoy this quaint city on your own.

 Local players have invited us to join them for dinner and bridge "the Maastricht way."
Day 9 Maastricht / Luxembourg
  Leaving The Netherlands, we travel into Belgium, stopping in the city of Spa. After a visit to the Promenade des Artistes, we continue on to Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Day 10 Luxembourg
  Once one of Europe's strongest fortresses, we will explore the maze of ancient military walls, Place d' Armes, the Grand Ducal Palace, and the European Parliament.

 At the Tennis Club Arquebusiers, local players will join us for dinner and bridge.
Day 11 Luxembourg / Brussels
  Belgium bound, today we'll cross the Ardennes to Bastogne, continue on to Waterloo and visit Wellington's headquarters and the Lion Monument. Finally, it's on to Brussels.

Day 12 Brussels
  Today we'll visit the Royal Palace, Palace of Justice, the Grand Palace, and Manneken-Pis followed by afternoon tea at a local spot.

 The players of Forest Bridge Domaine have invited us to bridge and dinner.
Day 13 Brussels
  We're off to Gent, to see "The Adoration of the Lamb" followed by a walking tour and boat ride in the medieval city of Bruges. Tonight we're guests at the 15th century royal wedding feast of Charles the Bold and Margaret of York - fun for all.

Day 14 Brussels
  This morning we drive to Antwerp and take a walking tour of the city highlights; Market Square, the Brabo fountains, and Rubens' House.

 The players of Antwerp have planned a luncheon followed by a "partner exchange."
Day 15 Brussels
  This morning we'll see the headquarters of the EU and NATO, then sample the national drink at a local brewery. Tonight, join Fred for a grand Farewell Dinner at our hotel.

Day 16 Brussels / U.S.A.
  Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
