Truly a Finesse West Classic, this will be our 11th tour of the Alberta and British Columbia provinces. A perfect blend of beautiful and breathtaking natural scenery, we'll see deer, elk, bighorn sheep, bear and, if we're really lucky, moose. We'll also visit the metropolitan cities of Calgary, Victoria and Vancouver and ride the world famous Rocky Mountaineer train. Come join the biggest moving bridge party on the North American continent.

Tour Schedule
Day 1 U.S.A. / Calgary
  Fly to the Wild West town of Calgary. This evening join other tour participants at a special "Welcome to Canada" dinner at our hotel.

Day 2 Calgary
  Breakfast high atop the Calgary Tower will be followed by a tour of the city including visits to Fort Calgary, Olympic Park, and the Saddledome.

 The Martinique Bridge Studio has made special plans for us to join them for a buffet style dinner followed by bridge.
Day 3 Calgary / Banff
  After a short ride to Banff, our guide takes us on a tour of the Banff townsite and the magnificent local natural scenery.

Day 4 Banff
  We'll tour Yoho National Park and the famous lakes of the region today. The days highlight is a stop at stunning Lake Louise where we'll lunch at the world famous Chateau Lake Louise.

 Finesse West Tours has invited local players to join us for an evening of social duplicate bridge in Banff National Park.
Day 5 Banff
  Spend a relaxing day at leisure in the beautiful city of Banff. This picturesque city will be fondly remembered.

 We have again invited local players to join us this afternoon for a friendly duplicate bridge.
Day 6 Banff / Jasper
  We'll travel along the Continental Divide via the Icefields Parkway. Spirits will soar when we stop for a "Snocoach" ride across the mighty Athabasca Glacier!

Breathtaking Canadian
landscape at Moraine Lake.
Today we'll tour Jasper National Park followed by a tram ride to the top of Whistler's Mountain and cruise on Lake Maligne.

 A bridge session tonight at the hotel. Be prepared for fun, games, and surprises.
Day 8 Jasper / Kamloops
  "The finest way, bar none, to experience the Rockies" as we board our train, the "Mountaineer", for a spectacular journey through some of the most stunning landscape in the world. Tonight we stop in Kamloops.

 The bridge players of Kamloops and the surrounding areas come to join us for dinner and duplicate bridge.
Day 9 Kamloops / Victoria
  We rejoin the "Mountaineer" and again recline in the super comfort of our wide-windowed Dayniter to continue our way through untamed wilderness. Early evening we arrive in Vancouver and board our ferry to Victoria.

Day 10 Victoria
  This morning we'll visit the world famous Butchart Gardens followed by a tour of the city of Victoria. Afternoon at leisure.

 A friendly session of duplicate and dinner with locals await us the Victoria Bridge Centre.
Day 11 Victoria / Vancouver
  After a ferry ride back to Vancouver, we'll take a short tour including the historic district, China Town and Gastown. Afternoon is at leisure.

 Tonight we are honored guests of the Vancouver Bridge Centre.
Day 12 Vancouver
 


Tramway to Grouse Mountain.
This morning we'll continue our tour of Vancouver, visiting Stanley Park, Granville Island, and Capilano Park with its 450' suspension footbridge. Tonight's grand Farewell Dinner will be a lively finale to a great vacation.

 The Vancouver Bridge Centre is again hosting us at a regular session of duplicate this afternoon.
Day 13 Vancouver / U.S.A.
  Transfer to Vancouver Int'l Airport for your flight home.
